Will airlines force employees get vaccine??

USG to issue vaccine cards, we'll be encouraged to carry them, or keep a photo on our phones (I do that with badge, for crew discounts on layovers).

Discussion on legality and practicality of employer-mandated vaccination...
Apparently EEOC classification of covid as "Direct Threat" has legal ramifications, allowing employers to take measures not normally allowed by law.

FAA not recommending the RONA VACCINE
The FAA says it hasn’t yet determined whether pilots will be able to get vaccinated against COVID-19 and keep their medicals. This was in an AVweb article.

Well all in case you didn’t know, this is different than all the other viruses we get vaccinated for, it’s brand new man made and this vaccine hasn’t been studied like the rest.

But they can only stall for so long, foriegn countries will soon enough require vaccination to clear customs and it's highly unlikely there will be exemption for aircrew.
If a vaccine creates a health issue that's significant enough to ground pilots it will get pulled off the market anyway. Worst case maybe you're grounded for a couple days after in case your sore arm makes it too hard to physically over-ride MCAS.

Given that naturally acquired human coronavirus infection immunity seems to last about nine months, that’s not really surprising but still reassuring to know. The BIG questions are:
1. How long do you have immunity from infection?
2. Is the T-cell immunity protective once the immunoglobulin based immunity fades?
3. If you do get infected once immunity fades, do you still have partial immunity that will prevent a severe infection?
and while I would expect the answer to questions 2&3 is yes, we won’t know until enough people have been vaccinated for long enough, which isn’t yet.
We have been born in interesting times...
