on Airliners.net there is a thread about future bookings that seems to be backed up with actual data. Short answer is pax have changed their habits and are booking inside a 21 day window in numbers we have never seen with relation to all the other windows. So really hard to look out more than one month would be the simple answer.

From my perspective, most flights are 75%-100% full now with even some being overbooked.

Several countries have had zero Covid deaths.... Many African nations have had very few Covid deaths in comparison to the rest of the world.... The deaths seem much lower in tropical and hot climate areas.
India has had almost as many cases as the US, yet is 1/2 the death rate.
Singapore has 5 times the cases of many countries they have the same or similar death rates.
Human physiology is constant; so what are the differences?
The devil is in the details.....

Obesity and age are the largest risk factors for an adverse COVID reaction. Africa is the youngest continent in the world, India and Singapore have relatively low BMIs.

Nope, it's still a viral infection that affects a specific part of society. No more worried about it now than before.

The WHO estimates 10% of World population infected...Mortality Rate very low considering how many have been estimated to have been infected.

In Hawaii, 5 times as many deaths due to Flu/Pneu. Yet not a single Flu headline out here that talks about it.

Perceived threat by people who are scared of their own shadow is what slowed down air travel in the Summer. That and States implementing these stupid quarantines and shutting down any activities people would travel for.

100%

Highest booking of the last 7 months during the typically slowest season. Bodes pretty well for next summer.

Don't think for one second managements aren't anticipating their daily updates just like us here. They have no doubt noticed the 900k numbers during the usual slow season.

The headline number was good (>900k) and was the third highest day of the recovery. The two other days were bookending the Labor Day Weekend (Fri Sept. 4 and Mon Sept. 7)

Digging deeper, it was the first time in 18 days that we did not have week-over-week growth as % percentage of last year.

This does not mean slower growth, but actual reversal of growth. One data point does not make a trend but something I will be watching in the next two weeks.

American is re-parking planes due to low bookings.
