I agree. But the industry is still at the mercy of lockdowns and restrictions. There are still very few places to GO. I don't see a million daily until spring.

If we do 2.33Mon any of those days, and have 50% TSA numbers, that will be 1.165M
which is fine, but then if it drops to 30-35% again, then what?
30-35% cannot be the non-holiday, new normal. Or we will need a PSP until 2025

"busiest day" during Thanksgiving holidays is the Sunday after thanksgiving (the "return home" day), averages 2.33 M: https://www.bts.gov/topics/airlines-...g-thanksgiving

The Bobs are planning for what the industry will look like post COVID. Until we are past this, 30% is what we have. Congress isn’t going to keep bailing us out, maybe they have one more in them that gets us past this, but I’m not counting it.

Those TSA numbers aren't telling the whole picture either. The fares are significantly down to attract what few people are left flying. This is not going to be sustainable for long unless something changes. We need business travelers to start up again before they get too comfortable with their Zoom meetings. Luckily, I don't see how sales will ever be done successfully over a video conference, so I do think at some point they will need to return at least a portion of their workforce.
