Go on any Disney Blog and read the overwhelming majority of comments... Masks, rides being closed, paying for half the experience, no pictures with characters, unable to reserve a ticket for pass members, no quick pass riding... Disney sees more tourists in a day than the State of Hawaii has total people flying in and out of the State. Disney for all intensive purposes is a very valid measuring stick. If that park was open fully and people could go easily, it would at near normal capacity. If the gov't new package absolving businesses from lawsuits concerning Covid passes, IMO more will open.
Sturgis is happening this week. No restrictions. Hundreds of thousands of bikers on any given day.. Expecting more than a million to pass through the town over the week. Record crowds.
There are enough people wanting to live life, that if we had fewer State restrictions our airline numbers would improve enough to atleast lower the furlough numbers. Problem with America, at the moment, is the people who want to stay indoors and stay afraid can't come to grips with the fact some of us are not afraid. And it drives them nuts.. (Wutface)

As far as daily TSA numbers, right now all we can hope is that it won’t get worse in the fall.

160,000 Americans have died completely avoidable deaths. Yet you whine about how you have to wear a mask at Disney. Let me play you the world's smallest violin.
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. South Korea had the first case on the same day the US had our first case. South Korea is a country of 50,000,000, 1/7th the size of the US. South Korea has a death toll of 300. 160,000 Americans have died.
Oh, also, South Korea has an unemployment rate of 4.3%. So it's a myth that covid mitigation = economic damage.
We did nothing proactive to prevent the covid freight train even though scientists saw it coming from months away. And morons like you continue to whine about the "hoax." Pathetic.
There are enough people who love their country enough to make small sacrifices for the common good. Problem with America, at the moment, is the people who mistake their ignorance for bravery and their selfishness for virtue, and they can't come to grips with the fact that some of us are patriots who are willing to sacrifice for our country... And it drives them nuts.

More nonsense from the peanut gallery. Friendly reminder that other countries avoided staggering death tolls because of competent and decisive leadership, and a citizenry willing to do the bare minimum for the common good (ie wear masks and stay inside). The selfish Karens like yourself, and the leadership you've enabled, have completely and utterly failed this country.

Time to learn how to live with it because we can’t stay locked down waiting for a vaccine that may or may not come.

This is a completely false statement. The 160,000 deaths were not otherwise completely healthy people who succumbed solely due to COVID. In my state over 98% of deaths included some form of comorbidity with the vast majority being from nursing homes or assisted living.

edit; my sincere apologies for thread drift. I just couldn’t let this go unchallenged.

This is perhaps the most laughable statement I’ve read on this website, and I’ve read a lot of WutFace posts. This is bad.
Your eagerness to play the political blame game makes your posts borderline unreadable.
Can you please allow this thread to remain on topic without soiling it with political diatribe?
Thank you.

I had a poll up a couple of weeks ago (link) where I asked if a thread on TSA data could stay free of buffoonery. Two out of 27 respondents thought it could, perhaps with moderator help. They were incorrect and likely disappointed. The majority, 22 out of 27 or about 81.4%, were correct as evidenced by the continued buffoonery despite multiple polite requests to keep this thread on topic.
Stick a fork in this one, it's done.
