Dude. The navy ship wasn't equipped to handle COVID patients. They didn't admit any. It was PR stunt by the Trump administration. Educate yourself before you open your mouth.
And CA is not in lockdown despite what they tell you on your kooky news. But please, keep trying.

ohh, that's right. Orange man bad. I forgot. Any way, so if the ship was not equipped to handle COVID patients (who was really in the beginning) how come there was no need to use it for non-COVID patients to make room in the hospitals for those with COVID? You know, because they were projected to be over capacity and all

You know what's hilarious about this whole thing? Is that you're complaining that all the extra field hospital space went unused in April. You know what stopped the outbreak from getting that bad? LOCKDOWNS. You are proving my point in the most ignorant way possible.

lol, the New York Times taking something the administration did and trying to paint it in a bad light. Color me surprised. I am sure you have this stuff you found on Reddit saved up in bookmark folders for your internet arguments.
The fact is that New York never reached capacity therefore there was really no need for the Hospital ship Coumo screamed about. I guess we can thank him for sticking all those infected people into nursing homes killing massive of people before they had a chance to make it to one. Now lets give him an Emmy!

Hey. Do me a favor. Can you tell me how many people died as a result of that nursing home snafu? It's terrible, to be sure. But you guys bring it up so often, it must be a lot. How many was it?

Should we contribute every death to COVID like a lot of Blue state hospitals did in the beginning, or those who really died of COVID? I don't know, how did Reddit and other liberal outlets spin it?

6,500 COVID deaths occurred in NY state nursing homes during the initial outbreak. 6,400 asymptomatic COVID+ patients were transferred to facilities during that time. They were isolated in those facilities and they did their best to keep them clear of non COVID residents.
Initial CDC guidance said that there was no asymptomatic spread. During the crisis, nursing home workers were encouraged to come to work if they only had mild or no symptoms. Studies have shown that this was a fatal mistake.
The transfer of patients was not the primary cause of those 6,500 deaths. It was the fact that we didn't know that asymptomatic spread from nursing home workers was as dangerous as it is.
Let me be clear, it's all tragic. But you want to hang this around the neck of Cuomo when you don't have the facts. And that just makes you a political hack.

lol, we've seen those "projections" before. Remember when Coumo tried scaring everybody with similar projections for New York back in April? They brought a Hospital Ship into the harbor for all the overflow. It barely got used, and when it did it wasn't because capacity ran out in New York. btw, the fact that you got those numbers from lockdown liberal California would prove that the lockdown they are currently is not effective. Are you changing your mind here or just unknowing undermining yourself?

You made a point about the Comfort being underutilized, and then someone else added factual context to that point which explained why the Comfort could not realistically be used due to bureaucratic snafus.
Then you proceed to pivot to crying about media bias:
(The other weird thing is Trump himself isn't specifically mentioned as responsible for the policy. Rather, it's a policy by the Navy which appears to be the hangup. Nevertheless, you rush to defend Trump even when he himself isn't specifically implicated in the issue. He's not even specifically criticized, and yet you rush to his defense? Why are you guys so reflexively defensive of him? You have a real weird complex that I only think I'd understand if I joined a cult.)

Wow, it was just a "snafu" to you? wow, just wow
See, two can play at your game.

I still don't know if you're a troll or just a moron, but I do know that I have pity for you.
