Do you carry an epi-pen? Those are the people the UK has said not to vaccinate. Can you even fly with an epi-pen? That could be bad, if the other pilot opens a pack of peanuts.
I don’t carry an epi-pen but I did experience a food related, anaphylactic reaction two years ago that subsided after taking Benadryl. Regardless, it was an anaphylactic reaction and it appears current guidance is to NOT take the vaccine until more is known.
"Exposed to" as in got the antibodies? You should be good for a while. If not, it's no guarantee.
Being in the same household isn't a 100% transmission event, the person with covid might not have been very infectious
She was hacking up a lung in bed next to me for the entire month of February and exhibited most of the reported symptoms. An April antibodies test confirmed she had the Coof. I tested negative. Doc says I’m either naturally immune or had a mild, asymptomatic reaction not sufficient enough to trigger a positive antibody result. By the way, many fail to realize that there is a sizable portion of the population that is naturally immune.

Sidebar from the vaccine talk...seriously consider carrying an epipen if you have an allergy that results in anaphylaxis. Please. I’ve had patients who never carried them because ‘Benadryl worked fine in the past’, only to get damn near the full Monty in the back of my bus after having an unusually severe and rapid onset rxn.
Benadryl PO takes a while to achieve sufficient blood concentration and,
while food allergy induced anaphylaxis is typically slower onset, you don’t want to end up behind the curve and out of options.
And now back to the vaccine brawling...

the virus affects everyone differently. Here’s the latest CDC data showing that COVID is more fatal than the flu somewhere in the 15-24 age group by a factor of 9:

Nobody knows why COVID affects people differently, but it does. Just because a bee sting is no big deal for you doesn’t mean it won’t kill someone else whose a trained cage fighter and until we can figure out how to identify the mechanism that makes it so deadly, getting the virus is Russian roullette. I’m not targetting you specifically, just bringing a different perspective.

Sanofi/GSK vaccine delayed, due to low immune response in older people. This uses the established recombinant protein technology (aka 2nd generation), which is known to have some potential limitations on immune response.
