This is not the same as anaphylaxis which can be fatal.

Both NHS workers have a history of serious allergies and carry adrenaline pens around with them.

People with a history of allergic reactions to things had an allergic reaction...this isn't a huge deal, its really not common with all kinds of injections.

It is and it isn't. In the pharmacy manual and IRT certain patients were excluded from the trial. Although the trials were given to a large population, restrictions on the clinical participants have caused a small skew of data. With the UK conditional release, a lot will be learned along with the pending USA population.

This is a topic with the FDA EUA meeting today and what restructions to place... to be continued but it is expected the EUA to be issued today and the first recipients to be tomorrow.

I'm personally interested to see the final EUA for more reasons than one.

Do you carry an epi-pen? Those are the people the UK has said not to vaccinate. Can you even fly with an epi-pen? That could be bad, if the other pilot opens a pack of peanuts.

"Exposed to" as in got the antibodies? You should be good for a while. If not, it's no guarantee.

Being in the same household isn't a 100% transmission event, the person with covid might not have been very infectious.

Yes, EUA / Phase-4 is where the rubber really meets the road on this.

Ethics discussion is informative for those interested or concerned about that.

Yup, good news. It seems the no votes were not based on safety concerns but more to do with if emergency authorization is really needed for 16 - 25year olds...or something along those lines. But all agreed the data looks good

Kind of a dog and pony show but whatever...
