Fauci expects a verdict (apparently on at least one vaccine candidate) by early Dec.

Is this factual? Do you have a source/link for the the cause of death? I do know that he treated covid patients, but the last I knew was that his cause of death had not been released. If true, however, it would likely be a check (a small one, but still a check) in the positive column for the vaccine.... The only person to die from covid during the trials was someone in a control group.
Please do share a link if you have one.

Speedbumps are definitely a possibility. Thankfully, in this particular case, the bump didn’t even last a full day. Of course, that’s this time. Who knows about the next one.

Brazil's health authority Anvisa said it was informed of the Brazilian volunteer's death on 19 October.
Brazilian media report that the volunteer was a 28-year-old doctor who died of Covid-19 complications. They say the doctor had worked with infected patients.

Had he not been a placebo recipient the trial would have immediately been suspended indefinitely.

Don't really give a crap though, my vacation house while still in CA is 300 feet from the NV state line. I'll take a weekend trip and then walk down the street to the CVS in NV. Please nobody tell Gavin

I'm frankly a little vague as to whether agenda-driven state governors can deny their populations access to an FDA-approved vaccine for the obvious political purpose of extending economic pain. Not sure if federal pre-emption applies here.

Given the power trip certain governors appear to be on , if the guy they don’t like gets elected they will probably do everything they can to delay the vaccine, whether it is legal or not.

didnt state governors already ban the use of certain drugs that were already FDA approved for anti malaria?
