What rate would you consider alarming? Everybody knew there would be an uptick once everything opened up, and the protests didn't help either. Do we keep the economy closed, force families into poverty, and continue to see suicide rates spike because Meemaw might catch a virus?

Let me reverse the question. How many deaths per day would you consider alarming? We hit 2500 per day during the NYC outbreak. Was that enough to shut it down?

Because 122,000 are already dead, and we're barely 3 months into this with no end in sight. How many deaths do you need to pump the brakes?

Using NYC as your qualifier is kinda nuts, don't you think?

How many deaths did Grand Rapids, Michigan have?

Shreveport, Louisiana?

Scott County, Illinois?

Santa Fe, New Mexico?

These places have been under some of the most restrictive lockdown orders in the nation due to state mandates - despite their comparatively low numbers. That is asinine.

Didn't your mother ever teach you that it is rude to answer a question with a question?

That's a good case for national guidelines for rolling restrictions in areas that have spiking cases. But that requires cooperation and not politicians who are trying to stoke a culture war.

Here's today's hotspot map.

Lockdown county by county? Prohibit travel? Quarantines?
Tell me, genius, how do we enforce protections to keep healthy areas healthy, and infected areas isolated?

fauci today called the numbers a “disturbing surge” in regards to growing cases.

Compare a population density map with infection rates. Notice any similarity?
