For what it's worth our Vegas flights have been mostly full since they opened the casinos back. And I mean actually full since we don't artificially cap flights anymore after mandating masks.

Unless you are an obese senior citizen I think your "30 day hospital stay on a vent" is exceedingly unlikely, especially now that there has been significant progress with antiviral and steroid treatments to reduce the severity for those that do have a severe immune reaction.
Hypochondria and symptom amplification is pervasive these days. Perhaps the damage you are doing to yourself from your fear is worse than the virus itself?
The most recent iFR from the CDC was 0.26% and it is probably even less than that now with the increase in positive cases and the decrease in fatalities. Texas had 10 COVID deaths yesterday in a state with close to 29 million people, 6 of those deaths were people in long-term care facilities. For a state that has a "surge" you are much more likely to die in a car accident in Texas than you are from COVID.
And before you say it, I know...but what about the long term consequences we don't know about? What about the 2nd wave? To those that say those things I say you are wasting your life away.

If you're under 50, it is at least an order of magnitude less than the .26%

The overwhelming majority of pilots I know that have had it (including me) have had symptoms that aren't even as significant as a cold.

Unless you’ve got significant health issues or are a nursing home patient, 99%+ of positive cases never see a hospital, let alone a vent. I speak from experience as I am “recovering” right now. Some sinus issues and a slight fever for 2 days and then I was back up and going. Not even remotely the worst “head cold” that I’ve ever suffered.

Yep, open. It.the. F. Up!
ignore all the top infectious disease experts because a guy on the internet had it and he was fine. Plus another guy on the internet threw out some inane statistics with no citation.
for the record I’m not pro lock down or pro open it up.
Whatever happened to a measured reopening while taking prudent precautions (limit occupancy, testing requirements, masks, disinfecting protocols) based on infection rates and other metics? why can’t we have that?
