Covid? She gone. As predicted, as soon as a juicier story could be inflated.

And now you get the uncertainty of dueling autopsy results added to the other uncertainties. And the criteria for guilt are ALL 12 JURORS agreeing unanimously BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT that this constituted third degree murder or manslaughter. That is a far higher bar than I think you realize.

What you have to realize is that ANY ambiguity, any ambiguity whatsoever, ALWAYS HELPS THE DEFENDANT. Because the defendant doesn’t have to prove their innocence, the prosecutor must prove their guilt.

Nor does it help that the career politician who has taken over as chief prosecutor has no meaningful experience as a prosecutor. This case is not near the slam-dunk you and many others seem to believe it is. Lord knows where they are even going to find a jury since the initial statements by the local politicians have probably tainted the local jury pool beyond repair.

yeah, that was my point... Although I think the Covid reaction was over reaction... Just highlighting the irony since there is nothing better to do at the moment.

Oh absolutely.... Instead of TSA guesses we need a thread about the next big thing for July and August

It wasn’t as I can’t tell the future that well. But nonetheless, all the states that opened up early have seen spikes. Some states like Alabama can’t find icu beds now and are under emergency mode sending people hours away to different cities for help. It’s a bit too early to call this over bud.

Do you have a source for your claims? IHME (link) certainly doesn't support the your claim that Alabama is short on ICU beds, but their data is a few days old. I assume you have something more current, and I'd be interested in seeing it to learn about what's happening there.
