...hence my qualifier about last week being a holiday week.

It's fairly obvious passenger numbers are progressing through each 100k threshold over each 2 week period, roughly.

Prediction:
break 400k around Monday June 8th ( or that week)

Sticking with my earlier prediction from a few weeks ago.. 500k on June 22nd

Eventually the pace of increases will speed up...……. hopefully

How about this.... even something like a TSA chart gives a furloughed guy an indication of how close the aviation sector is to 2019 levels.. It can help a furloughee judge when he/she might be called back.
We're barely out of phase 1 or 2 in just about every State. And holding roughly 12-13%...… Maybe we get to 30-40% by the time lockdowns are really eased. Or 50% by Oct. 1st.. Data gives us a starting point.
I appreciate the optimism and it’s fun to wish upon a star too but considering what has happened aviation will be the absolute last to come back to normal. There is still a lot of uncertainty, most people don’t base important decisions on positivity they base them on reality... While one guy would fly with no mask and hug their seat mates to prove a point there’s 10 others that won’t go in a plane or hangout in Vegas just yet. Looks like more than 60 million are out of a job now and thats in addition to the predicted recession that was coming next year. I think the country will come back sooner than later but as far as aviation goes, capacity will be reduced for years to come.

To much BS in all areas has already caused enough harm and mixed reactions overall during this pandemic. Just not playing the wish upon a star routine.
I wish we had this much positivity the last recession, would have made the furloughs less dreary.

The basically nationwide riots are really going to do wonders for people wanting to hop on a plane and travel. Can we just skip to 2021 yet,or bring on the murder hornets or the sexual harassment pandas?

A pretty solid lull last week after the holiday. Good to see a rebound. Hopefully it continues.
