We will see after the protest spike passes.

I think a constructive way forward would involve branding the virus with a sophomoric nickname that is racially charged. That’ll help

12V? 24V? 28V 400 amps?

That's a lot of race.

They had guidelines, they weren't enforced, and the younger crowd doesn't care as much... And as a side note, I don't blame them...The months old adage, if your old or unhealthy, stay home and stay away... It's not like any one State is being more or less safe than the next... My State is considered the safest in the country,, I know for a fact that the bars that are open aren't doing the mandates. Or enforcing them.

What can someone say to this. You really blew me away. You believe the earth is flat too? Even as a pilot?

well the spike is more correlated with states who loosened lockdown restrictions the soonest rather than states which had the most extensive protests (ie New York, Minnesota, Washington, Pennsylvania, etc.) but keep pushing your agenda by labeling it the "protest spike"

Actually, I been keeping pretty close tabs on the timeline and the spikes correlate to the protests. Additionally, the same goes for increased testing.

Wonder if the significant slowing in growth (not that 20% WoW could continue in perpetuity) is due to capacity caps, media coverage of the sunbelt spike, or a combination thereof.

At least at my airline, there’s significantly more capacity being put into the system next month. I’m seeing a lot of flights at the end of June filled to (artificial) capacity, especially in the leisure markets. Hoping the growth picks back up into July.

The battle between Cuomo and Desantis certainly isn’t helping anything, but to what extent it is hindering I can’t quite say. They just re-closed our beaches in SoFla for the holiday weekend only...I don’t set foot on our beaches from June-August anyways and I think anyone who does is crazy. Masks required everywhere but restaurants still open.

I would imagine it's something of both. It will be interesting to see how it changes once July starts. I picked 3-4 random routes (FLL-JFK, DFW-ORD, SEA-LAS etc) to see how they change a week from today when we get into July and they all increase by 2-4 extras flights per day. I still think it will take some time to get back to the 1M mark, but hopefully sometime by late July we will cross that threshold.
