But the homemade ones work. No?

Right because when I think of this country I think of calm individuals that aren’t prone to panic behavior. Look for a disease that didn’t require bottled water they panic bought all the bottled water and toilet paper. If you think they would have listened to just use a cloth one I got a bridge for you.

By the way, 80% of the population of the United States is 264,000,000. That would be 13.2 million dead at 0.5% CFR. That's insanity if you think that's acceptable.

You keep spreadin' that virus, son.
that would be if there was a 5% rate. Better move the decimal point ...

Choice or not, one's current employment situation undoubtedly influences their opinion. And no, I did not take an offered voluntary LOA, but I am not advocating a lockdown either.

Just trying to figure out which lies are for my own good and which ones are bad.

If it's the bridge on the river kwai... I'm in!

You refuse to answer the question. Got it.

so do you believe what the CDC is saying now? That we never did really “contain” the virus since they say that the identified “positives” were only the tip of the iceberg?

“CDC says COVID-19 cases in U.S. may be 10 times higher than reported“
-NBC News, June 25th

I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t want this to be true. Death rate would plummet if so

of course I believe that, because the CDC is an institution with integrity and puts out good faith information 99% of the time.

what I don’t believe is the chief executive. He’s averaging 15 documented falsehoods per day since inauguration. When you get lied to that much it’s hard to know what’s what.

Of course there's been 10 times more infections than confirmed. We were so behind on testing during that first month and half that unless you were dying, you couldn't get one.

So we have 2.3 million confirmed cases, that would mean 23 million estimated cases in the United States. That would also jive with a 0.5% case fatality rate.

This is good news, but don't oversell it. We still have 306 million more people to go.
