You’re worried about the furlough? We will be lucky if we have some sort of normalcy by next year.

Just answer the question. You want everyone to stay home to beat the virus. This means no travel. We are in the travel industry. Gubment money to sit home and not fly is irresponsible and will not continue. Are you leading by example and charging toward the change you want to see in everyone else?

I hate to break it to you but as an airline pilot you’re first to be effected in a downturn and last to recover. The only way to save your job is to follow what the gubment health officials are telling you. The less you listen the longer this will go on. Nobody is saying we need to shut down.

The real problem, as it always has been, is education. Add that the main channels for information are businesses that profit from fear and hysteria, and here is Q2 2020 in all its splendor. We ought to trust CNN, FOX, NBC, etc to keep us accurately informed as much as we trust Lays and Nestle to keep us healthy. But this is a thread about TSA numbers so:

Wednesday 6/24 represented a 12% increase from last Wednesday 6/17. To use a metaphor... given the patterns of rotation observed in this week’s mainstream media storms, I think that modest 12% week over week increase is significant.

I'm not sure we should try to get back on topic anymore. We should just quietly start a new thread about it and leave these guys to continue b*tching about getting COVID-19.

Many people are ready

I’ll take that gentlemen’s bet. Just because you announced something, doesn’t mean you can’t take it back and delay it with new information.

You know what’s crazy about America. They could choose not to go back to work there.
