We’re so far past arguing about CFR’s and ROI’s. I know too many people, very young and fit people who think they’ll die immediately from COVID because they’re on Twitter all day, a mob of college students whose fathers are currently footing the bills. They have no need to venture outside or go back to a work and would rather sign petitions to close things down than start things up. I just deleted Facebook because I can’t take the hypocrisy of people who have been going to Walmart’s filled with hundreds of people saying that it’s too soon for Disney to open. Or how Trump (And I personally don’t like the Orange Man) shouldn’t be having rallies of 10,000 people cause he’s killing us, but those same critics turn a blind eye to two weeks of millions out in masses protesting. Oh and that, why can’t Black Lives Matter with police reform while simultaneously acknowledging the protests were dangerous and caused this spike? We’re so, so far past this argument being about CFRs and ROIs, it’s eye for an eye now. I remember being taught in school that North Koreans turn each other in to the government, now its being encouraged by the N.Y. governor. So how does this relate to TSA numbers? I think the TSA graph is actually the most accurate depiction of the U.S. right now, not the Dow or S&P. I know for certain it will come roaring back someday, but I already have my side gig going, I hope some of you do too.

What part of a pandemic don’t you understand? Every selfish entitled person not doing their part is prolonging this pandemic and placing others at risk. I congratulate those that force out and call out individuals who don’t wear masks, break health mandates, and ignore quarantine orders. It’s clear now this virus is serious and it’s real, we have to follow what the health officials are telling us. There’s no room anymore for stupid self notions.

On a fundamental level, ratting to the gov’t is disturbing. Just as someone who enjoys and has studied American History. Also, your response made my point about tribalism. I never said I was against the actions taken by Cuomo. You auto filled that I am a dumb trumper cause I have one varying opinion from you. Therefore I’m in the “other” group. I don’t wanna be a sheep. So I don’t assume other people are in one group or another. Varying opinions are important. I can believe Black Lives Matter and locking down young people is dumb.
This is far different than communist tactics, it’s a pandemic. But I’m with you on grouping people. The problem is 99% of the time they do belong to that group. Most of them say the same talking points too over and over. Something about basements, freedom, herds etc

I used to be a straight up and down liberal before all this. I know the earth is round, we went to the moon, contrails aren’t chem trails, taxes are necessary and the Clinton's aren’t devils. But when I hear the word “compliance” in reference to individual state orders. I get a little uneasy in my freedom area. I used to laugh at libertarians. But I like history and this is starting to sound very familiar. It’s not easy to come back from media outlets spinning to their own viewers, who only watch what they agree with and therefore that’s their world. And now we literally have a regulated divide of states. No bueno from the history POV

You have a habit of being rude and not remaining civil; not the best way to win an argument.
I also point out to you that this thread is one borne of sentiment of the travelling public; not of fact. With this in mind leave your continual vitriol regarding science deniers on the other threads.
