Large 91/135 operator:
135 flights button down with epaulets. We add a tie during the winter.
91 flights: company logo polos with slacks.
We're pushing management to go polos all the time because it looks better and saves us money.

Part 91.
1 Global, 2 Gulfstreams.
95% international
Company logo polo shirts and slacks.
8 years with this company flying all over the world and never had a problem wearing a polo shirt. In fact, there are some places that you really don't want to advertise that you are a pilot.

Large 135 operator, dark gray slacks, black button down collar shirts with company logo. Good practical uniform for the type of flying we do, like loading bags and cleaning interior of plane without dumb tie getting in the way. Does not show ring around the collar like on white pilot uniform shirts.

I was the CP of a corporate, one Cessna P-210, 1 full-time (me) and 1 part time pilot, pt 91 operation. White shirt with epaulets, black shoulder boards with thin gold stripes, black pants with a subtle thin gold stripe down the legs. ( sounds cheesy, but it really looked great). Anyway, airline style cap in the winter with hat wings and gold "scrambled eggs" on the bill. (we were both Captains.)
I was not only the CP, but I was also the CEO/COO of the company, so the uniform was approved at the executive level.

I've worn both polo shirt/slacks, and a more formal uniform with white shirt and epauletts/shoulder boards for corporate and charter work.
I prefer polo shirt and slacks, but internationally, a formal uniform is often preferable.

Maybe I'm slow, but please clarify; this is a joke, right?
