Default Interview experience

I was interviewing for a part 91 position. 1st and 2nd (owner) interview went well. They scheduled me for an "interview" trip
4 days/20 hrs/international/heavy jet .i agreed but i asked where i should send my invoice for my services...answer: oh no we are not paying you a daily rate just your $70 per diem,we want to hire you!!!!
I told them thank you but no thank you ,there is no free lunch anywhere!!!! I hadnt even gotten the key to the airplane and they were already trying to screw me.BIG RED FLAG! and possibly a sign of things to come.
Mind you, this was thru a "management" company who probably was sticking it to the owner for $1500 a day.

Good for you!!! If they were a legit company they would have paid you a contract rate for the "interview trip". No free lunch!

Bad News Bears......down the road you would be looking for payment from flights done 2 months ago.

Steer clear! Why do people spend 30-50 Million on a aircraft and then worry about a perfectly appropriate day rate?

After re-reading your post. $70/day per diem intl is woefully short.
Another red flag
