I guess if you divide my pay by the average number of days I work, it works out to about $1800-2000/day. Of course my recurrent training is paid for and I have a retirement package, medical insurance...etc...I work less than 15 days a month though so I'm not making the numbers you have been.

If one can consistently make, or at least have to option to make, $30-50k/month, I would be very interested. The option to work hard one month and make $50k and work little or not at all the next month would be appealing. Although I guess it's hard to say "no" when you're trying to build a customer base.

What is the "other site" that one can go to to learn more about contracting and contract rates?

Knowing I'm not about to regret my decision accepting the trip to begin with. For the poster above, depending on your level of networking you can stay as busy or as quiet as you please. I know guys that fly 20 days a month at 1800-1900 a day in the Global. Not my bag, but it's defiantly possible.
I am a G450/V/550 guy and I can't find one day of work to save my life. Perhps, the supply and demand is deferent on the Global? Where are you looking?

Mostly networking. ACASS, Jet and JPI are always looking for warm bodies. Much hinges on availability and area you currently reside.
