Default How hard?

how hard would it be to get a corporate job having there minimums? Do you have to know the right people? or you just send your resume?

No black and white answer here. If you're at the right place at the right time, then a resume could be all it takes, but it's more the exception than the norm. More often, knowing someone is the key, and even then you need to have what they are looking for.

Many corporate jobs come available and get filled without anyone ever even knowing the opportunity existed.

The key is networking, getting yourself known. If possible, take a job that places you in an environment to be seen by corporate guys. Join a local organization that's frequented by corporate guys. Offer yourself as a contract pilot so they can "try before they buy". Get some experience as a 135 passenger charter pilot - they tend to run in the same circles as corporate guys, not to mention the fact that many of the guys you fly with will get on with corporates down the road, opening up doors for yourself. The process could take years, but so does anything else worthwhile.

Also, you might consider joining climbto350.com and check the site daily. There are all kinds of random jobs that get posted. Some are corporate.

I can't disagree with this, since I landed my present job through climbto350.com... (mine was right place, right time, right qualifications).

However it's worth noting that the competition on this (and many other aviation job search websites) is fierce.

When my current position was advertised, my company posted it for 4 days before they took down the ad. In that 4 days, they received over 1200 resumes from every state in the US and 7 other countries (including as far away as Israel and Japan)...

Networking is definitely the best option, but use all available resources! Good luck!
