Jepp problems with ipad
Flew into Rio last week and the STARs from the electronic chart database in the aircraft did not match the same named STARs on the Jepp app on iPad. iPad jepps were at least three revs old yet were indicating fully up to date. Contacted Jepp and they didn't seem to appreciate the gravity of this issue and suggesting deleting the app and reloading 'every so often' to ensure the iPad stays current (which is crazy talk). Anybody else come across this ?

There was an issue with Jepp a few weeks back. I had a similar issue with one or two airports. Deleted the app and all data, then reloaded everything from scratch. That resolved everything.
Apparently the issue was with the updated application not being properly installed during the iPad update.

Similar problem out of CYYZ the other day. Trying to find the assigned SID out of the laundry list available on JeppFD, but the one ATC gave me was not there. Also, when selecting from the list on FD, different SIDs would display (ex: selecting the TONNY 2, and thte ARROW 2 would display). Luckily the ProLine 21 chart display had the right chart.
