756 or 777 would be good type ratings to have for FDX and leave other options available. MD10/11 not so much, A300/727 even less useful.

To be honest head to place get a little more time for when DAL or FEdEx calls. I would try to get on with busy GV or ACMI operation .

I would strongly recommend climbto350.com and/or NBAA's job forum. As for MGM, a friend of mine just started full time with them. That person loves it, doesn't make a lot of money for the equipment, but Las Vegas is dirt cheap to live in. That person worked contract for them for a couple of months before they started full time. If you want to fly a lot it is a good company to be with.

What is your source on this? There are quite a few items here that are not correct.

There is a 747SP and a 767 on the LAS ramp. Those aircraft are not on this list. I suspect they belong to Sands, but not sure.
Looking for more information on these operators, but cracking this network is like trying to get secret military information....
I see, on the various job boards, that MGM is looking for GV plots but the MGM website says position closed. I wonder if they are B.S. postings. If anyone has any info it would be appreciated.

Getting a job on the inside of corporate/casino Vegas is ridiculous.. I know a good family friend who used to fly on the UFC/Station side of things. That operation isn't bad compared to others.

And that 76 and SP are painted like the rest of the Sands. Not sure of the story on them.

Yes, the 747 and the 767 belong to Sands. There are actually two 747s but usually only one at a time stateside. The other is currently having interior re-done from what I know.
