ConAgra
Does anyone have any information about ConAgra flight department. They have a couple of Lear 45's. I am trying to get a heads up on quality of life and whatnot. Thanks in advance!

I know some of their crews as I fly into PSC (one of their regular stops) all the time. They seem like a good group of guys although by corporate standars their flying is pretty boring as they just fly to the same 5-6 destinations. They don't have a lot of turnover but I believe they'll be looking for one or two pilots in the near future due to attrition.

I had the chance to talk to some of their crew and tour their Lear 45s, they have 8 or 9 of them. Seemed like a really cool group of pilots and a good company. I was told that they dont hire too often and when they do they can be really picky. Overall seems like it would be a great group to fly with.

Thanks for the info, I interviewed with them a couple weeks ago and agree they are a very good group of guys. I did not get the job, but it was a good experience.

If anyone is looking at ConAgra I called and talked to the Chief Pilot. Their hiring minimums are 4500TT, 1000TT multi, 500 multi turbine, 500 multi turbine PIC, and you have to hold an ATP Multi Certificate with 1 previous type rating preferred, and a 4 year degree. Hope this helps.

I get to speak with a lot of aviation directors, those hiring mins sound pretty standard. Total time might be as low as 2500, if one has some compensating stuff--mil jet, time on type they fly, etc.
