Proline 21 - anybody use compass rose ?

No brother you and me both.
As an aside, a while back, while learning the Proline 21, ATC said "go direct XYZ" (which wasn't in the flight plan/active route).
My seasoned P-21 partner told me "look, see this, go to this page, ok, now hit this key, ok, great, now cut and paste it, good job, now hit execute...ok now check it make sure it is doing what we told it to do..."
ME: thats great but can't I just type "XYZ" and hit direct
HIM: well, yeah, you can........
