They are starting to warm up the C-152. Cessna 172 on "standby". How is the corporate market these days? Is it starting to get better?

I'm NOT defending a certain person in ANY way, shape, or form that should be drawn and quartered. But as I read somewhere else about that;

Interesting twist by the Mod, in trying to dissuade the discussion of politics role in collapse of GM's Flight Department. It's a verifiable fact that political influences lead directly to the demise of several flight departments, and the loss of many jobs by many crewmembers. Not arguing the Mods right to do this, just making the statement that this issue was made an issue, purely for the political theater it became.

It is not trying to say that it is not "responsible", it is saying they are being quite hypocritical! And they were! BTW, have you ever heard the recording of Pelosi's assistant having a cow because the GV wasn't available!? Unreal.
Didn't she also have to "settle" for the G-V? I seem to remember her getting crucified in the press because she was demanding a 757 to take her and her entire entourage and family.

I said a word that rhymes with boat once, wasn't even a political thread. Was an off color joke that EVERYBODY has heard before

Got a post deletion and an infraction/nastygram for making a thread political

I am a little punchy this morning... what word rhymes with "coat"? LoL... I can't come up with it...

I think everyone on here gets an infraction at some point. I got one for posting a bunch of cold hard facts about Comair, and then putting my opinion at the end... something *everyone* does on here on a daily basis... but because a mod disagreed with my opinion, my posts got the boot and I got dinged.

I understand the mods don't want politics on here, or flamebait... but lets be honest here-- when CEO's of major companies go in front of Congress and discuss things that directly affect all of us, and now we are talking about it... it is near impossible to not talk about the political arena, regardless of your personal views.

Maybe a little more discretion is in order... this should be a place to speak freely.

Well.. now that we're back on topic.. let me just say how I really feel...

ALL pilots of corporate aircraft should be TSA employees. We need to keep this country safe and they are the ones to do it!! Ordinary citizens do not belong in the cockpits of aircraft flying around in an unsecure GA environment.

I think the biggest disappointment out of the big three would have to be Mullaly. Given his backround he should have been able to speak with some knowledge and intelligence.
