BeechJet Co-Captain Salary
I am looking into a Co-Captain position flying a BeechJet 400. The part 91 position also requires an A&P license (which I have). I come to the table with 5,500TT, 3,000 multi and 2,700 turbine but no Jet experience. The job is based in the NW United States.
Any idea what I should expect for a salary if the job is offered?

Gotta remember one thing: If you ain't flying it, you may be fixing it. And if you ain't fixing it, then you may be flying it. Can't do both at the same time. If the company can afford two captains, then they should be able to afford A&P. I do not agree with the 2 for 1 job description. My .02.

I never want to be "just" a pilot.

Well - they are looking for 1 guy to fill 2 positions because.....they are CHEAP!
Be prepared for a crappy offer, only crappy operations try this type of move.
Is what it is...
And do beechjet Captains really make 60K??....

That would be the difference between you and me. I am not a mechanic, never wanted to be, nor ever had any interest in being one. I am "just a pilot", and that's the way I have always wanted it to be. Rather be in the air looking down upon a beautiful world, instead of having my head shoved in an engine compartment or other hard to reach area. Just my opinion. I agree with the too cheap poster.
