Operator of Legacy fleet at San Jose???
I fly into San Jose quite a bit, I usully see a legacy, sometimes even two parked at the SJC Jet Center (blue belly, white fuselage)..... my guess, the fleet is about 3 or 4 strong, and they seem to do a lot of flying out of SJC.
are they a flt. dept or charter operation??? where's their base of ops??
this could be one of them

My buddy got the pink slip from NJA, i"m just trying to give him some ideas, but I doubt they're hiring.

Starting pay 40K ish, upgrade is on merit, day trips (that's why the pay is low end). Doubt they are hiring but you never know last guy hired had thousands of hours PIC on an ERJ and was a furloughed legacy pilot. Sign of the times......hope this helps.

I started at twice that amount to fly a DA20. I'm finding this hard to believe.

ADI is based in KPTK - Pontiac, Michigan. They also do various shuttles for other corporate companies. Last time I was down that way they had 6 Emb's they were running - guess times are slower.
No discouragement meant, but ADI, like many opeartions is one of those that helps to know someone or have a marketable skill in terms of flight time.
Good luck to your friend UCLA - we've all been there and lately it seems we're all headed that way haha!

I flew the Intel shuttle in Bandits back in 92/93. It was twice, some times 3 times/day, between SAC and SJC. It was a contract run by Patterson Aviation at SAC. We we're paid per trip, forget the pay now but it was around $25,000/year as a captain.
Intel is one cheap company. Many of their employees were contractors then as well. The only way they probably made good money was to invest in Intel stock at that time. Wish I had, but at $25,000/year I didn't have a penny to spare
