Default N28RK Falcon 20 down off Bahamas . . .

Sad to report a US registered Falcon 20D, used for Executive Charters out of KFXE, went down last night en route from Santa Domingo to Ft. Lauderdale.

Last radar hit on FlightAware shows the aircraft at 28,000 feet, there is little news other than the Falcon crashed 11 miles East of Grand Inagua, Bahamas.

Crew are reported as pilot Harold Hangle and copilot Tredy Camilo, and the aircraft's company as Flaviation Group Inc out of KFXE.

FlightAware > N28RK > 17-Dec-2009 > MDJB-KFXE

I was enroute to San Juan when I heard the Coast Guard and Miami Center talking about this. Nobody seemed to know what happened, only that the Falcon was missing.

Any weather in the area? Sad news. Thoughts and prayers to the families.

Possible four persons on board.

Update, aircraft impacted land, witnesses described a fireball in the sky, followed by a shockwave following the crash.

Is actually East of Great Inagua (No Grand Inagua), relly close to cuban and Guantamo Airspace, they mention a ball of fire in the air. RIP
