Part Time (Contract) GIV GV work in SOCAL
NOPE ... lots 'n lots of guys 'n gals on the street (Thank You .. Jet Direct ... what a class operaton) ... more to come. If KVNY, KTEB and KHPN are the hot bed of GIV/GV work then why does ARG/US state that last month (September) large cabin flight operations took the bigest hit in month over prior year?

As the chief pilot of a certificate in socal that has a GIV I can tell you the few GIV jobs that are out there are only paying about 120K for Captain. I just hired a Captain that would have worked for less then that but I got him 120k. However it does seem like the contract GIV market is picking back up. A contract GIV guy in Socal gets 750-850 per day depending on time in type and total experience.
