Default Crew Visas still required for France?

I had heard a rumor that France is no longer requiring / checking crew visas. Any truth to this or just some BS floating around the airport?

Not a rumor. Our Universal rep. told us that a couple of weeks ago. Shenjen (sp.?) visas no longer required for crews in France.

Echoing the dude... no visas required. Flew into LFPB last month, no sweat.

Our rep. at ARINC told us the same, however, I just got back today from Nice, FR. Upon arrival, customs was no issue, but outbound clearing security, they needed to see our shenjen visas.

For what its worth, that was my experience this morning.

Hey,
I'm from Cannes next to Nice...living in Miami now.
And yes we are complicated overthere..Everytime I fly back I'm always surprised by their customs..
I'm a commercial pilot also & if you need info about South of France please let me know.
Enjoy your weekend!
