Default turboprop

The twin commander 1000 is an awesome jetprop for cost, speed and range. fl350 , cruise at 300kt. , range up to 2,080 km. Engine rebuilds at 5,400 hours, you have a rear potty and can hold 6 or 7 passengers.

Based on this info I am starting to question whether you really have the budget to operate the aircraft with a limited budget. What is you yearly budget for maintenance and training? You may be better off chartering an airplane or looking into fractional ownership.

If the airplane is cheap, it is cheap for a reason.

"Private flights" and "Low cost" usually aren't involved in the same thoughts.

Dont forget...the cheapest part of owning an aircraft by far is the acquisition cost.

This.

Seriously.

Before you even turn a wrench, it's going to be pricey.

Single turboprop is to much expensive. CJ series is expensive (good may be some SPI or SPII at maximum). Or something like cheyenne.
Our idea is private flights like air taxi, but "low costs".
Hold present that here in Europe (in particular way Italy) 1 hour king air costs is around double respect USA. Think about jets.. :-(
Piaggio Avanti...wait those cost $5mil

I write from Italy Europe and I would like to know some information and opinion from many of you as pilots and owners in different aeronautical realities.
Me and my associates are looking for best solution regarding corporate/air taxi and private flights. Our target, is flights from 250nm to 1000nm range and our "idea" is to make something like "low costs" private flights.
In italy now regarding air taxi and business flights, just to make an idea, the plane that fly more than all the others is a little CJ1
So we are thinkin that now for many people (private and business flights), is good a king air 90 also, does not important if they arrive 20' later...important is to spend few money.
For this we are looking for the best airplane for that. We don't want buy any airplane for now, our idea is find some aircraft in dry lease, because we are pilots also, with all the requirements.
Do you have any idea, price and comments regarding all of above?
thanks
If you are really interested in saving money and time is not the number one priority then perhaps you should consider a Pilatus. Burns A LOT less than a jet and a king air. Not sure what the absolute range is but I would guess its approaching 1000 miles.
