Default Transition Pay

I have a few students right now that are getting ready to buy thier own planes for business. Small ones for now Cessna 414, Barons, Beech, Mailbu ect.(any recomendations to steer them in the right direction) Something that will have a decent payload and carry about 4 or 5 people. Since they are just private students still they have asked me to fly for them until they can fly for themselves or just be around when needed. are there day rates that I can look at somewhere as neither of them are ready to have salaried pilot on hand

Avcrew.com may still have the daily rates up for the various plane sizes. But I think 200 a day plus expenses is probably ball park for those aircraft.

We pay $300/day for a Cirrus PIC; I would charge nothing less for a cabin-class single or twin.

I would agree that 200 is on the low side. I flew a Baron 8 years ago for 200/day.

I flew a CE-340 for 400 per day, plus expenses.
