Baron 58 Pay
I fly a Corporate Baron 58. I am the only pilot and this is the only airlplane. I fly the plane, clean the plane, manage the plane. I have 8 guaranteed days off per month and have been flying about 50 hours per month. I am away from my wife and kids so much sometimes I dream of a regional airline schedule ha.
Would somene be willing to post NBAA salary? I feel I am being treated fairly, but I really have no idea what I should be getting paid.
Thanks a ton!

I did that for awhile, and it's a bit different than the "scheduled" 135 night freight world.
I know people doing a job like that (in mod-low cost of living area), flying a fraction of what you are, in a single-piston, making high $40's 1st year.

Box hauling pilots usually get paid more because it is defitnetly a much harder life, but as you mentioned, you have "extra responsibilites". That airplane is your baby, you should definetly be making what the Airnet guys make.... if you ask for a raise, just be humble and explain the situation

I believe Corporate pilots make more than Part 135 air-taxi pilots. The reason is in a 135 operation the operator must make money by using the airplane. In a corporate environment the airplane is a justifiable expense.
Check out Professional Pilot magazine - Professional Pilot Magazine
They have a salary survey coming out in the next issue. Management at an operation that I worked for years ago paid attention to it.

The fact that you are also managing, cleaning, presumably scheduling necessary maintenance, etc., should entitle you to an appropriate salary. Freight dogs make so much, but put the idea in the boss's head that he made YOU responsible for all these things, has entrusted his safety and other passengers safety into your hands. I am sure you are at his beck and call whenever he needs you. If you wrote up a list of all the things you do for the company and presented it to him in a reasonable manner, he may reconsider what he pays you, hopefully to a greater sum.
