Operations shift / New aircraft
Attention pilots,
The family I work for has decided to upgrade the current GII to a GIV. This will occur in the next 60 days. Upon announcing this, my captain who has been with the same family for 20 years decided to retire. I will be upgrading to PIC and am looking for a SIC.
We have been normally S.E. Florida based, that is also changing. 30 days after the new jet comes online, we will be shifting ops to the NY area.
This is all in the early stages but we are going to start looking for the SIC to join me on the new bird. Details could change but here is what you need to know.
We are wheels up, ALOT. Will be flying 5 days a week with days off on a possible by pass with 30 day notice. In other words, you wont ALWAYS have weekends off. 70% of our flying is out and back.
The aircraft is split amongst 20 people. They reserve days and we always know where we are going 2-3 days before unless a emergency trip is needed. We will repo transcon several times a week for a 1 hour out and back (yeah....really). International ops are not far in the future with this new aircraft.
The plane isnt going anywhere. They are invested in the pilots and always take care of us on the road. FO starting at $80ishK (not including bonus) a year with good (not great) med bennies.
Living within TEB is a must. No exceptions. No relocation package avail.
TIME IN TYPE IS A MUST!
If you are interested in this gig, please PM me your resume. Remember, this is in the early stages but we will be filling the position within the next 45 days. Questions/Concerns can be posted or PM'd.

All messages sent have been replied to guys! Any further questions, please post or PM, I'll answer anything i possibly can. However we are in the middle of knocking out the details of the hiring package. I was the last one hired about 3 years ago so some things needed to be updated. On top of all that we just got back from the west coast on a long weekend of out and backs. Man I hope the 4's seats are a little nicer!

I am not looking for a Job right now, Thankfully, nor a desire to be based in TEB, But I want to commend you for reaching out to your fellow professionals with this Job offer in these tough times. I would encourage all who read these threads to follow in Blue Bravo's fine example.
