Well I have to disagree with you here....a few lear models will cross the fence at 145kts+ at MGLW, the 55 is a perfect example. I guess the CRJ may be a few kts faster but not much.

Sounds like my meals on the road when I was flying freight. Whenever I'd get the pop-up trip to wherever, the vending machine was it. The burger's weren't that bad, or maybe I was just that hungry and tired

Are you wearing your Sheepskin-lined leather jacket and aviators? Tell me, How do you climb through RVSM with no autopilot?

I have done it all.

No sheepskin jacket.. No Aviators. I said I was a Lear SIC... not a douchebag.

We file /G and file for FL450. They never have denied us, the lack of RVSM and autopilot help us get there faster because they don't want us 'lingering' in the RVSM space with you.

Red face

However, I was not trying to toot my own horn, or imply I was better in anyway. Just poking a little fun at my broke ass Lear Jet.

I apologize if I came across as arrogant.

No need to apologize for flying a LR 24......enjoy it. That's more "real" flying than you'll ever see in a glass a/c.

Great, classic a/c........the original VLJ (with performance.....not this .65 crap)

An original wing Lear 25 has some crazy high Vref speeds too.

Hardest to master? Get a look at the G-1159a (G-II, G-III [DC]) Electrical system. Enjoy!
