The company that I work for bought one of their 135 airplanes. It was delivered in pretty bad maintenance shape. It was way below MEL. It was being flown that way. I talked with a couple of their guys who said that was common.

Keep in mind that was about 18 months ago. So, things may be different now.

They have their share of problems-depending where you are based and what system you use, it could be great or it could suck. Some guys have good schedules and excellent pay, others do not. It is not a uniform system like Netjets, Flex, etc. so there are a lot of factors on how everything works. Pilots may fly for one account only, others may fly multiple aircraft and work from a pool system, some can commute, others cannot--the list is endless. As far as going out of business, with few exceptions many companies are having problems right now. Time will tell who survives this economy. JetDirect has something like 1,000 pilots in their system so let's hope for the best-the market does not need anymore unemployed pilots.

They're not meeting payroll on the administrative side as of three weeks ago. Not long for this world...

They suck . they cant pay their pilots and most of them are quiting the owners are bailing out like carzy at least one pilot they have not paid 42k and most they have not paid min of 10k thats just in pay .you use your own cc card when your on the road and they say they will pay you back. ya right my brother quit when the bill was not paid of 93k and no pay chk for dec and jan. they even have a site called jetdirect owes me money.com they used everyone and them dumped on them. at least in the north east side of the company.this is only what I know from my brother and some of his people that worked there mybe its differnt in other parts of the us?

Unfortunately, it is game over for JetDirect and a lot of people got hurt along the way. My heart goes out to your brother and I hope he sues the s%#t out of them. I know it is of little comfort because most people will be lucky to see pennies on the dollar. Anyone affected should check out JetDirect Aviation Owes Me Money | Information for the Unpaid Masses for info. I believe they had info on a court case this week in Boston for employee money issues. Our owner left early and I am grateful because he saved me from a lot of pain. I am out about $3K and I consider myself very lucky. JetDirect is supposedly being bought out and renamed. I do not see that working out too well with all the owed money out there and a bunch of ****ed off clients who are walking away or have done so already. Good luck to all those involved.
