I was furloughed for five years previously and the "have fun at Home Depot" or your sarcastic comment ticked me off then and they tick me off. Even though you're flying a C172 and have no idea what a furlough is or feels like, trust me, some day if that fate should befall you, you will sing a different tune. Economic livelihood hangs in the balance of anyone who is furloughed, so my advice, don't post douche bag comments like that.

I am a low time pilot. 1950 TT, 550 Multi. And i lost my job about 3 months ago.
I have send out over a 160 resumes out and not all nice jobs even flying over seas in Afghanistan and Iraq and two came back. One send me a e-mail but does not pick up the phone, the other told me to call back in a week because they are not shore if they will need pilots after all.
Zayghami has no idea how it feels to lose your job and see all you worked for go to waste. I do not wish this upon him because this feeling you would not wish to your enemies.
We are all professionals or we should be and the pilot community is under attack by our own government and public opinion instead of bashing each other we should help each other and unite.
Thanks for posting those jobs, im just a wee bit shy of the 5000 hrs.

Worldwide sucks a$$. WWJ is privately owned company and everyone is unhappy. as for " You CAN have a flying career and a life too!" that is horse puddy too. Save your time and energy and find a good job with a more up standing company. They still owe me over 15K. They fly sub-standard equipment. My lawsuit is still pending. To say that they are a bunch of A-holes is only slander if if wasn't true.

26 north is based across from my flight school and i talked to one of the co-owners the other day. he is pretty much looking for G200 typed captains and fos. he said he cant find anyone. i told him i would do it but he doesnt wanna spend the $30,000 to train me haha. anywho, i think they are good on the other jets as far as pilots are concerned but i could be wrong. they are a good company, fly a good amount, and yes they have a ton of money behind them. the other co-owner is like 25 or 26 and a multi millionaire. high school dropout and started a credit card processing business when he was like 18 or somethin. must be nice....
