Having trouble figuring out what the contract says for recovery, as this is my first experience dealing with it. I was assigned a four day trip for a line that got totally redone. Due to the reschedule they gave me the last day off from what was originally posted. The contract seems to say that I need to be available from 0700-1500 any recovery days, and can be assigned flying that gets me back up to 6 hours past my originally scheduled time. Am I reading that correctly before I go grab my beer? Thanks.

I disagree but you do you. Trust me, after talking to him, with his sense of entitlement he won’t be at mainline until all the regionals fail. He told the gate agent to get me and told me I need to check my books again because they told us in class we can have any FA JS on Delta painted airplanes. FNG. I was simply trying to educate future pilots since we have Skywest people on this forum that what they told you in class is incorrect.

3rd time I’ve missed out on a first class seat on our own metal (AA) due to being cleared behind other standbys out of the nest as an AAC. Three hour flight. I specifically went and checked in as Compass prior to boarding as well.
Very small thing to “complain” about, especially because I still got a seat in the back. The first two times I said nothing. This time, I brought it up, and as expected, the agent couldn’t have cared less and essentially ignored me.
This has to be a common issue. What gives?

Unfortunately unless an AAC vs AA jumpseat war breaks out and AA pilot's start standing up for the non wholly owned pilot's who support their carrier and support their profitability, it's likely never going to change.

LCR where art thou?
Will we EVER get LCR back? Blah, blah, " operational needs " in January?
We haven't had it since Oct.
Whisky Tango Foxtrot .. over.

Even if they did offer it, every LCR guy would get converted to shortfall all the time and life would suck that much more on rsv.
