Here we go again with the compass negativity. Come on guys. Why can’t we all be as cheerful and positive at Teabag Bandit?!

For the reasons they mentioned. Long reserve times, falling behind in pay, vacations being pulled back, sub par flight bennies, and so on.

This is all nothing new. Why are you guys re vamping the same stuff again and again? Anyone who has been here for more than a year knows this

Ask the Skywest SEA CRJ captains that are getting displaced how much they like it over there. And most of them can't hold the 175 in SEA or even BOI.

But new hires can hold ATL CA with longevity from their previous jobs. So a 7 year guy would be on 7 year CA pay their first year. Plus you neglected to mention cons of Endeavor or a AA WO regional which also have less than a year upgrade with bigger bonuses/Endeavor with a higher hourly rate, and a known flow/preferential interview. Yes the wait to flow might be long, but ask a 13 year ASA captain how they feel about 4-6 years to a legacy.

Would you rather be based at home but never fly with the ultimate goal of a legacy or get the hours now and enjoy seniority with your career airline? All while getting paid more until you land the dream job with a regional that has direct mainline cash backing (all the WO).

So I was bought off the last three days of a five day trip and places on recovery but I commute to LA do I need to stay in LA for those three extra days or can I get release and go home? Do they have to give me a hotel? The contract says you have to be reasonably available but what does reasonably available mean? Has anyone else had this situation?

Did that last email just contain a memo announcing her own promotion?

I'd treat it like LCR. You don't have a RAP so they have to give you rest. You'd probably be able to commute in.
