Default Uniform Police Check Airman

Yall need to get your facts straight. The pilot in question was an FO. It was actually a check airman that informed the company of the issue. The FO was reminded repeatedly by the check airman on the trip that he needed 1. His safety vest on for walk arounds and 2. He needed to have his blazer on. After telling the check airman to go pound sand the check airman got it taken care of. Pro stands at Compass does nothing. Management and the check airman all know this and as such have a pact to keep the blood pure.

That’s not the story I’ve heard and I know who it happened to. I mean honestly who would tell an LCA to pound sand. No one is that dense.

You really think it’s worth escalating not wearing a blazer? Your an idiot. The fo is a buddy of mine and your story about his approach to the LCA is false. It’s company men like you that are ruining the trust of the pilot group, and frankly destroying this airline. Believe me, it’s not going to hell because people don’t wear their hats and jackets.

Seriously anyone that wants to bypass pro stands because they believe it “does nothing” and goes straight to management is a problem. It wasn’t an LCA. It was a regular 4 and a half stripe captain. Probably going to be a lifer if he/she keeps that up.

It’s crystal clear in the FOM. Either you’re in compliance or you’re knowingly breaking FOM.
You're right it is crystal clear. You are only allowed to wear a uniform during those times. Meaning I cannot wear it any other times than those listed. No where does it actually say I must wear the uniform it simply provides limits to when it can be worn.
