Maybe the case at AA, but endeavor is not the largest feed for Delta.

Many Envoy pilots have been hired OTS by AA. I know 2 that were picked up this month alone. Anyone that says AA will not hire out of the WOs OTS is absolutely incorrect.

Guys are upgrading at Endeavor in 6 months with prior 121, or around 18 months if it's their first gig. So they are still improving their resume for AA, UA, etc while making more money with the added benefit of Delta extending a preferential interview.
If you want to spend the unforeseeable future on reserve in NY go ahead. Enjoy not getting to fly hardly at all, taking 2-3yrs at the least to get 1000tpic. The hourly pay is pretty much the same as if they still had the bonus. It’s not like this is some new magical amount of money that wasn’t there before.

The point is it is significantly more than any other regional is paying. Hard rates trump bonuses. 3 years to get 1000 tpic? Not likely. The better question is will it matter in 2 to 3 years?

The better question is: how is the PHX crew room? And the follow up question: is it cool?

Default PSA : NEW FOs

Looks like we have another tattle tale in our midst. If your captain isn't wearing his hat and it bothers you that much. Tell him, or pro-stan. Not management. Also if he's not wearing the blazer, well its over 75 degrees in LAX today so its not even required.

Heard the same thing. Funny the entitlement a CFI gets when every airline wants them. Times have certainly changed. Sounds like someone new is looking to claim that yoke clip fame!

Two can play that game.

What a shame.

LMAO

You know you’ve made it in aviation when you can pee while standing up inside.

It’s an entirely different kind of flying.
