RNP is expensive...and this airline gets by just fine without it, I'm guessing it is/was on the back burner with all the money they are throwing at recruiting. They won't do it till it's required by the FARs...Just like ADSB, being required by 2020, you think they'll do that soon 😂

It's not an RNP (we as a carrier can't do RNP) and there are no RNP approaches in our database, your referencing an RNAV Visual, similar to some of the SFO approaches...Our aircraft while equipped are not RNP certified nor are any of our pilots trained in RNP procedures
RNAV visuals are air carrier/aircraft specific, so I'm guessing we haven't gotten authorization yet because we haven't proved the airplane is capable and that our current profile for landing supports it, again I'm guessing its in the database because they're testing it in the sim which requires the same database...

I'm fairly certain that RNAV "visual" that's in the database is the same exact approach as the RNAV RNP Z 26 into ABQ. I'll have to double check it. Either way, I still don't see the problem as I am not actually doing the RNP approach. It's VMC and cleared for the visual, as far as I'm concerned, I'm just using waypoints for situational awareness. I understand accepting an RNP approach or another we aren't certified for, but for a visual?

What's the companies policy on headsets? Do they have to be TSO'd?
