I agree it would be easier to just buy us, staple us, and fly us but Delta Airlines (because really? Air Lines?) is in a position where they don't need to do that. From an organizational and workforce perspective it makes more sense for them to just buy a sim or two and write a handful of manuals from scratch then to deal with absorbing an entire certificate and dealing with labor, SLIs, etc.
there would be no SLI really, it would be a staple....but, it's never happening.

I understand that. I think even a staple would **** some people off. I mean on... This the airline that habitually gripes about a hat or a two minute check in.

LOL, this^^^^^^^^^^ A staple is not gonna happen as the unwashed masses here at Compass have not been "vetted" by delta in spite of the fact that not a single person involved with hiring there would refuse the hospitality of my jumpseat or think twice about putting their entire family in the back when it's time to go to Disneyland. I do however enjoy reading the posts from trolls rooting for us to have our planes placed "elsewhere" and put 700 guys and gals out of work. You guys truly are special.

Talk about special. How’s your reading comprehension? I’ve read about the last 30 posts and what I get out of it is replies as to why Compass won’t be acquired

Realistically TSH will merge Compass with GoJet and TSA.

A Delta buy back could happen, but the staple would be to Endeavor’s list (seniority based on DOH).

The other option is SkyWest could buy Compass to get more west coast presence, just like they did with ExpressJet out east. So given those options a GoJet+TSA merger sounds better...especially since guys here love SkyWest so much.

I doubt Skywest would want anything to do with another union

I never said anything about posts in this thread and you respond with an insult.

Sure they do. Close the airline down, then use non-union SkyWest pilots.

Jetdoc,

Your good people you just seem really bitter about the system. I guess I am curios to here how you want the hiring process at Delta to work. If I recall correctly even if they said tomorrow that as long as you meet the min requirements we will take you at Delta, is there not a huge requirement you would be missing?

Whats your plan for moving on, hoping they change their requirements ?
