A Dr.s note is required per the contract after a 3rd sick call in 12 months...I believe. They can't change the terms of that.

Yep, the note becomes mandatory on your 3rd sick call in a rolling 12 month period (Section 14.I.2.a).

However, the company may request a verification of illness on any call, so long as that request is made by Flight Ops in writing within 24 hours of the pilots notification to crew scheduling (Section 14.H).

Who checks company email when they are off? Are they going to mail a letter within 24hrs?

Thanks for the info above. After how long may I expect to get a line in SEA?
Also after you hold a line what kind of trips is the most likely to fly ?
4 day trips , 3 days? Do you guys fly day trips there too?
How easy is to get day trips ? or you don't get them at all?
Thank you very much

Don't forget about the lack of State income tax on Washington. It makes a big difference when you add the bigger paychecks into your cost of living calculations.

I think the email that just went out answers any questions regarding a Dr note....

You dont have to check your email or provide them with a note within 24hrs, they just have to send the request within that time.

Just so you know, the contract says if the company requests a doctor's note then they have to reimburse you.
