Compass Updates - Saga Continues

It’s every man for himself. But at least you get to be at home for 2 weeks. Most guys are stuck 8am-5pm in a class trying to one up each other with cool 172-CFI stories.

My training binder said it would happen but no one at all actually had to do it

In a ideal world, your boss is supposed to welcome you to the line, let you know where things are in your base, explain probation terms, and let you know they are there for you.

Training folder says you will. Never had to do it myself.
It's nothing to sweat.
This will be interesting to see how they pay things out now that after Nov 30th, there will be no way for them to "base" you at MSP. So now, they may *have* to pay you per diem, hotel, and the others.
DISCLAIMER: Training is a little different and that is one area our contract can use some beefing up on. So, contractually speaking, it's a large grey area.

Yeah, I’ve already thought about this, but they’ll write it off as “training” and won’t pay a dime, no doubt.

So one day left in the month to put out a vacancy bid. Is there any verbiage on the contract about this?

Employee travel, should be able to find the email in comply or typing it into outlook. But I'm pretty sure it goes by calendar year so it's not worth it to buy now because you'll have to pay for it again come January.
