The competition is there and gets stronger everyday. Senior Mgmt needs to realize this, or else we will become a Horizon. But who knows, these days it seems they prefer giving away airplanes instead...

We literally only had hotels for new hires for about 2.5 years...

I mean, doesn't cost them any more if its a RSV trip, right? Its still within the guarantee. I agree that they will probably use FOs first, but obviously they believe they will run out with this whole program being offered in the first place.
Sure company would use new upgrades to be right seat qualify. They are the group who suppose to know how to fly both seats very well, which literally cost the company nothing additional to their training, I guess they can just qualify them at the same PV, MV session, probably just an additional checkbox in their training result.
‘you guys pass your MV, and btw you two are also checked off for right seat qualified’
Also this group of pilots probably the most money hungry group, at least I can still remember the first time I saw the big jump on my paycheck, somehow make me want to fly more.

Disclaimer: I won’t get right seat qualify unless I become LCA!

Not too long ago I had to pay for a crashpad at Compass in training. Delta its the same story. Done double occupancy before too.

Its the right thing to do to provide a private room. Nothing helps you focus on succeeding in training more than not having to stress about where your sleeping and transportation to/from SIM. But they didn't start giving them away in 2015 because they cared about that, but because they were the last that regional that DIDN'T offer them and weren't filling classes.

It's stuff like this that would have me second guessing coming here. And I know plenty of other people who are going to be looking at potential airlines soon, what a great recruiting tool to get them over. Get lonely? We'll bunk you up with someone so you're not! Want your own personal space? Ummm, we'll bunk you up with someone anyway!

When a good portion of Compass pilots started we had to pay for our own hotels or crashpads throughout training and our pay was 25/hr. "Back in my day.....
