If it’s a visual, I’ll do vectors and just FPA/VS it to keep my vertical profile crossing at the FAF. Sort of like VNAV. Night mountainous, load that whole approach.

That hot topic at DL was from a 737 almost slamming into a hill on a visual approach. DL is really worried about CFIT.

Yes that works too.

I usually load the whole thing to make a point to the other guy that we would have gone below the minimum altitudes had they bombed down like they wanted.

Shout out to whoever asked about the hat. I call BS on the "our customers require it" nonsense when too many other DC and AE carriers do not require their pilots to wear a hat.

So if I understand correctly they are practically planning on taking vacation back until march when hiring will try to catch up to attrition.
