Looking at the LOA in the back of the CBA, sadly LCR is not 100% required. They do have that catch all option "for operational requirements" to reduce LCR any ammount down to 0%. But they are supposed to work with ALPA to get LCR back asap

The only time this should happen is if there are only first class seats available. In that case AA non revs have higher priority since they are able to actually list for first. If its for an economy seat then Compass non revs including anyone on your flight benefits should be first priority.

Did I miss something in the last bid package? Is LCR no longer being awarded? I bid down from a line to hold LCR next month and now see LCR isn't mentioned in the bid package. Starting to feel like I just made a huge mistake trying to work out a few must have days off...
Why would you do that?! Get ready to fly every day in rsv and have min days off!

I don't have a class date, but I have talked to a bunch of pilots and a couple union guys in the past about this and they've all told me the same thing. No degree, in base, and prior 121 looks really good because you have experience, but the company knows a major won't call so you're likely to stay for a while.
Spirit will be JetBlue and Alaska rates soon I would go now. Will be lots of apps in after they get a contract just like what happened at Allegiant. Get degree there and enjoy better pay while your waiting.

Does anybody remember how much time in advance of the official posting would the next month schedule show up in Rainmaker?
