That would be an interesting situation if it came to that. Not saying that it can't happen, but wouldn't make much sense. Off the street hires making 36/hr and flows making second year pay with one year on property? Don't think that would go over well with the union or current pilots. Most flows would leave the chance they have a class date with the big 3, while the ones who apply and interview actually show interest in working there. A preferential interview with HAL would make more sense. Or maybe the flow is just for people who live in Hawaii 😎

My questions:
1. What makes offering a $10,000 bonus to new hires from two years ago a blatant violation of our contract but not this new $17,500 bonus now? I predict a classic airline doom and gloom defense for it. "Don't like the new hire bonus guys? How ya gonna like not having jobs cuz we can't staff our flying?"
2. Vacations. Why not raise the floor first? Why not an LOA for more than 150%?
3. IOCC. Still a blatant violation of our contract in so many ways. What's being done to fix it? Timeframe? Why can't I drop green days without emailing triptrades? Why can't I see which days actually ARE green?(because they suddenly decided they aren't going to tell us what the buffers are?) Why is it so hard to have a LIVE reserve availability list so we can actually have some transparency to see who REALLY IS next in line instead of just taking their word for it.
