You and 400 other people thought the same thing about commuting LAX/PHX. It's not easy, and Phx is going to be so small I bet it takes a while to hold it since there's already so many cpz people that live there.

Can't confirm how hard or easy phx to lax commute is. The 175 is a great plane, better than the crj from my experience. Depending on military and space shuttle time, guys are here and gone from 6months to 5yrs. Luck of the drawl dude

That's 15 jump seats that you have pretty high priority on.

Any idea how long it takes to hold a line as a new FO at either of the junior bases?

Junior line holder in LAX is around 13-14 months. Seattle is around 17 months but should go down as they add departures out of SEA. Phoenix probably won't open until December or the first part of 2018 so we won't know how that base will look until the end of this month at the absolute soonest.

A typical reserve line consists of 11-12 days off per month with most of your work blocks being between 4-6 days with 2 days off in between and at some point in your month you will get a block of 4 consecutive days off. Flight time was a scarcity a couple months ago but I believe now most are flying between 30-40hours of block in a month. I am going off information I have received from FOs that I have flown with so the block hours may vary.

I see that FO first year is $41/hr. Does that include training and IOE?, what is second year FO pay?

Yes, it is $41/hr starting day one. the first two weeks are at home study and I'm not sure how many credit hours you get for that but once you come back to MSP for training you are payed $41/hr at 75 hours of credit per month, this is min guarantee. Not exactly sure what year two pay will be with the new raises but it should be around $42-43/hr.
